With the advancement of technology, digital banking has become an essential part of a person’s financial journey. Financial institutions now provide a variety of services that help people achieve financial stability. However, even though digital banking is becoming more prevalent in major cities, they are yet to be available for everyone.
In villages where network connectivity is still an issue, a lack of physical branches makes it difficult for account holders to access bank services. The Reserve Bank of India introduced Kiosk Banking Services to ensure that everyone, especially those in remote areas of India, have access to banking services.
Individuals can use Kiosk to access banking services such as cheque transfers, transactions, balance inquiries, cash deposits or remittances, and the likes of it, without having to visit a bank branch.
